THE RESIDENT’s owner and designer Lauren Price started her career as a workplace interior designer and over the last ten years she has developed a love for aesthetics and an appreciation of beauty in the home. “There is nothing more comforting and exciting about a home that is true to the owner's personality”. THE RESIDENT is about using 100% linen and denim and designing with inspiration from the fashion runway. Lauren has a keen interest in fashion so it was natural to start the inspiration there. Fashion is a way of showing someone’s personality and that same idea can be expressed at home. THE RESIDENT is a passionate young Australian company and promises to push boundaries in design to continually bring customers something diverse that they can’t find elsewhere.
