Mark from Blueprint worked with us to design our large new acreage home in 2011. He fully documented and understood both our requirements and budget and then translated them into a stunning practical plan. Blueprint was all about the design outcome and customer service was second to none! We have now engaged Blueprint to design our next build in 2017. Thoroughly recommend.

We sourced Mark to complete a design for a bespoke large family home on a heavily sloped block. We were incredibly finicky throughout the process and no doubt pushed Mark to the brink but he was patient and respectfully provided advice throughout the whole process that inevitably we ended up accepting as the right path. The home design we ended up with is our perfect vision and there is nothing about it we would change which proves his keen design eye and experience paid off. We would definitely use Mark again however hopefully there'll be no need because we hope to stay in our dream home for a long time yet. Now on to the next challenge- building it!

This is the third time we have used Mark from Blueprint Designs for our home design & every time we could not be happier with his services! Mark really listens to our brief, offers the most brilliant, well thought out, thorough ideas & the outcome is honestly beyond our every expectation every time! Mark's most recent design (to be constructed very soon) we thought was going to be especially complicated given the difficult terrain (hilltop position) our home is being placed on however this was not a challenge in any way to Mark. I am very happy to recommend Blueprint Designs for any design needs that you have. Last year, my wife and I built our first home, on the Gold Coast. We engaged Mark Engwirda from Blueprint Designs as our Designer. Mark was excellent. When we first engaged him he came over to our house one afternoon and spent a few hours with us to understand our needs and desires, the type of home we wanted, our budget, etc. He also visited the site and gave us some great design ideas that suited the block, which we followed. As you can imagine we changed our minds a few times during the design process and Mark was all too happy to work with us on the changes we wanted and even gave us a number of options to choose from. Nothing was too big or too small and nothing was a hassle. During the build, Mark also worked hand in hand with our Builder to ensure that we had a seamless build. I have no hesitation in recommending Mark and Blueprint Designs. His service was excellent and his price was very reasonable, well within our budget. We love our new house. We have now used Mark from Blueprint Designs for our last two house designs and we have found Mark to be great to work with. Mark takes the time to listen to our needs and with the aspects of the block location in mind, we have been provided with house deigns that not only meet out family needs, but also take advantage of the location of the block. Mark has a building background, so he is well aware of the costs involved in the construction of his design, which is a great advantage when you have a budget in mind for the build. We found Mark from Blueprint Designs through the Home Design Building Group. This is our fourth house to the built, but the first to be professionally designed, so we had no idea what to expect. Mark guided us through the steps, first coming out to our house site and spending hours going through our requirements and 'wish list' and then coming up with the concept house plan as he interrupted it. Talk about spot on! It was amazing how he got right into our heads and we just love the small things that make it so different from the mass produced project homes, without adding to the price but certainly adding to the WOW factor. Mark arranged all the council surveys & testing on our behalf to the stage where we are ready to lodge the plans for approval. Mark was fantastic! He really took the time to understand our family and how we live. The Building Designers Association of Queensland confirms that Mark Engwirda from Blueprint Designs is a member of the BDAQ. A full member of BDAQ must hold a QBCC License in Building Design which requires particular technical qualifications and years of experience.
