Glen Place T/A Place Designs has been providing a complete building design service in the Mackay Region since 1971. If you require quality and value for money Place Designs would be the Building Designer for you. Place Design is a family building design company business committed to achieving client satisfaction. We have a strong reputation for exceeding our clients’ expectations. We have a proven track record of creating custom designs specifically to suit the client within budget constraints. Glen Place brings construction and building design knowledge to the design project. Glen Place commenced in the construction industry in 1964 and building design in 1971 Glen is currently QBCC licenced (Licence No 12080) Building Design - Medium Rise, Building Design - Open & Builder - Open Kieron Place commenced building design in 1992 and was QBCC licenced (Licence No 1045510) Building Design - Medium Rise in 2007. We specialise in the design of all types and styles of projects whether it be a new home design, a renovation, commercial project or Industrial building. We can provide a comprehensive service from concept to construction & look forward to assisting you with your project.

I recently engaged Place Design for some work for the Portofino Body Corporate. Their service was efficient, comprehensive and exactly as directed. Their communication was strong, professional and personable and they always kept me informed about the project I used them for. If I needed to use similar services again, I would use Place Design and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to others.

We have used Place Designs on more than one occasion and have been extremely happy with the level of service, professionalism and industry knowledge that Glen and his team offer. Not only were we very appreciative of his design assistance and input but the builders we engaged were also of the same opinion due to the ease of working with Glen and utilising his end product. We would recommend these guys to anyone and should the situation arise would use them again.

We highly recommend Place Designs for high quality building designs. Glen is highly professional, flexible, friendly and honest. He has many years of experience in building design and has exceptional knowledge of council regulatory, building guidelines and engineering requirements. We had several meetings with Glen and he always on time. He listened to our ideas, and requirements. He always gave us multiple options to consider which allowed us to make the right decisions. He made several amendments until we were happy with the final plan. He even made one last minute change without any hesitation. His work is thorough and detailed. We are very pleased with the final architectural design and it was a great experience for us.

We had Glen from Place Designs design a 2 storey garage extension. We found him to be prompt, very professional and works well with builder and engineer. The designs were of a very high standard. We would recommend Place Designs to anyone.

We can highly recommend Place Designs for high quality work and help with design, after building and renovating our 3 fitness clubs, as well as renovations at our private residence.
