Salvage Europe’s range of solid French oak flooring is harvested from one of the world’s oldest sustainable hardwood timber supplies in Burgundy, France. This timber combines the aesthetics of single-origin growth with practicality, durability and structural integrity and provides a natural warmth and richness to any project. The floors are hypoallergenic, durable and designed to be easy to maintain. Designed and milled in Australia, the handcrafted floors are made from genuine, solid French oak wideboard (220mm) that is selectively harvested from single-forest PEFC-certified old growth hardwood which is over 200 years old. A full range of flooring including overlay floors, cladding, skirting and matching stair material are in stock and are available for delivery. Salvage Europe’s single-forest French oak is prized for its tannin content, which yields distinctive colours and a tight grain pattern yielding planks with beautiful "cathedral" grain in the centre of each plank, producing a durable single origin French oak floor handcrafted from sustainable hardwood 100% oak only no glue or ply.
