Please do not read into this negative robust discussion but rather read that this has been a journey of respect, communication, listening and my learning about how to go about such a project of a knock down rebuild. “We would highly recommend Bijl Architecture. We have renovated a Federation house with most of its original features (pressed metal ceilings, transom windows, five fireplaces, servants bells). The designed continued in this style but with all modern conveniences and open plan, including garden room gym, wine cellar and coffered ceiling in the main living area. We worked closely with Melonie and Andy, and appreciated their willingness to work with us and to agree on mutually acceptable solutions to any situation.
