About Us

Thomsen Builders & Carpenters started by carpenter brothers who had a dream to be independent and make their mark in the Southwest Sydney’s construction industry. The brothers’ journey began in a small island of Samoa working hard in a number of cattle & poultry farms. They made their move to NSW and started their journey in the constructions industry in 2003. This marked their humble beginnings when they opened their doors as Thomsen Building Services. As the years past, the team grew and began to specialise in so much more than carpentry. The brothers began to shift their focus to building & interior design. With this, the team evolved and became a team of in-house architects, interior designer and continued to hone their specialities in carpentry. This marked the true beginning and led to the start of Thomsen Builders & Carpenters. With an appreciation for a premium client’s experience whilst carrying their family bond & values into the business, the team pride themselves in complete transparency in any building process. They believe that their clients are the most important element in any project. And with that, they love including clients in every step of the way. Jason, the "front man" was punctual, courteous, provided me with a quote within days, detailing all the phases of the work to be carried out. On the start day of the project, he came, to introduce the crew members. During the project (over a week), Jason kept me informed of the progress and did answer all my numerous questions. The work was completed in the framed time, there was not any "nasty" surprises, the quote was respected. I can highly recommend Thomsen Builders & Carpenters, not only are they professional, courteous, being a family business, the care taken & the proud of their job can be seen.

Our bathroom hand sink and bench had become damaged and unsafe over a period of time with leaking water pipes and rotting timber bench -- * We then asked ' Thomsen Builders' to inspect and make recommendations to rectify the situation – they then confirmed the problem and located and supplied the most suitable 'bathroom vanity' to replace our current damaged sink and bench – * They installed the new vanity and basin as well as replaced and updated any plumbing that was required to make the basin function perfectly – * They also replaced the shower hose and head the same day -- * On a separate occasion, they supplied and installed a toilet handrail to suit our requirements -- -- they also replaced some water damaged and rotten timber panels on our back porch – and refitted the loose guttering over the back porch – * They also designed and built a new door/gate as an entrance to access the space under the house --
