About Us

We Design and Install Vertical gardens, Green roofs, and Water Sensitive Urban Design. We strive to provide clients with excellent service, and are resourced to undertake small to large projects. With over 35 years experience in working on award winning ecological landscapes. Evolvement has developed skills in greening urban infrastructure and water management. Along with ecologically endangered community (EEC) restoration projects, we have managed numerous urban Green Roof and Vertical garden projects in Australia, the Middle East and Germany.

He is in regular contact with suppliers, architects and government authorities internationally. His understanding of green infrastructure and knowledge of plant material allows for creative and successful solutions. Robert has undertaken projects in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and across Australia on urban renewal projects incorporating major parks, roads, ecology, bio-retention and Green roof/wall projects. Projects include: Port Botany expansion, M7 Tollway, St Vincents, Canterbury Hospitals and Sydney Casino, Harrington Grove ecological restoration and The Green and Golden Bell Frog habitat for the Sydney Olympics.

Robert Griffith, head of Evolvement, revived our vertical garden wall from a dry, drab aesthetic planted with inappropriate plants given the direct north-facing perspective; to a lush, sustainable, highly attractive wall. Robert appropriated irrigation timing, advised on maintenance and returned promptly to verify the platform's operability and indeed, to replace the few plants that didn't take initially. I can't recommend Robert highly enough. Professional sincerity is a rare commodity and Robert has it in spades!

Evolvement transformed our large, windy, hot balcony to a wonderful collection of green rooms and green frames vistas. Like many with a rooftop high up, we had the challenges of weight on slab, membranes, soil depth, and plant selection for windy, hot conditions as well getting a design that looks good. Evolvement were able to work with the site, suggest technologies, find the right soil and suggest robust plants as well as execute the project and attend to ongoing maintenance. Our balcony now has the wow factor that everyone wants but few are able to achieve. Highly recommended.
