We are compelled to share our thoroughly disappointing experience with Hall Group & Co. a company that has left us utterly frustrated and disheartened. After months of anticipation, false promises and countless discussions, they ultimately declined our renovation project. Our hope is that my review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering their services. From the outset, Hall Group & Co. appeared to be a reputable and reliable choice. We enagaed with Anothony R. (company rep), and we had multiple meetings/ discussions, where they showcased their expertise, presented impressive portfolios, and gave us assurances that they were committed and the perfect fit for our project. Excitement grew, and we eagerly awaited the commencement of work. However, as time wore on, it became evident that their promises were nothing more than empty words/lip service. Despite our persistent inquiries, they were not reachable and consistently delayed revising and finalising their quote, citing unforeseen circumstances and various excuses. What started as a small delay soon transformed into a waiting game that spanned several months. The lack of communication and transparency only added to the mounting frustration. The careless attitude displayed by Hall Group & Co. was truly disheartening. They failed to respect our time, and the importance of the tender process/ due diligence of a client. It was as if our renovation project was no longer a priority for them, despite their earlier claims of commitment and dedication. Finally, after enduring months of disappointment and dashed hopes, we received the news on 9/6/23 (we engaged them on 12/9/22), that Hall Group & Co. was declining the job (only after me picking up the phone and making one of my multiple “chase up” calls). This unexpected rejection left us feeling utterly dejected and betrayed. Their unprofessional behavior and inability to fulfill their promises have not only wasted our precious time but also caused significant inconvenience and stress. We now must start the tender process from scratch as. Our renovation project is now going to be delayed significantly. We declined other potential builders based on false promises made by the Hall Group & Co, only to be told that they don’t have the capacity (6 months after we first engaged), and other jobs have taken priority. A builder's reputation lies in their ability to deliver on their commitments and promises. Unfortunately, Hall Group & Co. has failed on this count. We would strongly advise anyone seeking construction services to exercise caution and consider their options. It is disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for customers' time and trust.

Hall group were amazing, as a former carpenter, I can say that the workmanship form Matt, Eli and Jeremy was actually perfect. No defect list was required because there simply wasn't any defects, which is almost unheard of. The renovation was extremely difficult and complicated, access was terrible and there was some high pressure components relating to multiple water leaks in my roof. there was never any complaints about the job, when any unforeseen problems arose (which is unavoidable when renovating an old house), Chris or Anthony or the Carpenters presented me with a range of options on how to solve the problem, not a list of reasons why they can't do something. There were also no surprises with the price. It was a great experience, I can't recommend Hall Group & Co enough.

We enlisted the services of Hall Group to build the lift shaft for our lift and a set of stairs. Both were being retro fitted into our apartment. This is no easy job when you have to contend with 7 other apartment owners. A job that Hall Group had no problem with. We found the company to be very easy to get on with. Nothing was a problem for them and the work was top quality. Trades people used were very polite and aware what their job was. After building 3 houses and two large extensions in the past I would say Hall group were the most professional of all building companies I have used.

Work was carried out efficiently in a professional manner and completed within the estimated time. The tradesmen were always courteous and left the worksite clean and tide. I cannot verify the cost but assume it was within the range stated.

Adam & Anthony did the building work required for a lift installation at my parents. They were on time, efficient & left the site clean when work was complete. Easy to deal with, answered all our questions, highly recommend.

Assigned by lift company Compact lifts to carry out building works prior to installation of the elevator Initially believed we had timber floor, however struck problem with 100mm concrete, however Hall group personnel resolved situation without too many complications. Did cost more than originally estimated however was rearranged without any major dramas. The 2 young tradies Anthony & Justin were extremely helpful & very professional in all aspects, providing assurance that all was under control. Thanks to be passed on.

I found Hall Group to be very friendly and professional, and they scoped, managed and carried out the project well. The project came in on budget and I was extremely satisfied with the end result.

Our lift install and building work wasn't going to be easy from the start, but the Hall team battled away, they made that square peg fit in the round hole, literally. Thanks Adam and the Matt team, you guys rock.

The Hall Group & Co were very professional in the way the job was undertaken. Aaron Kershaw came and viewed the job and gave an indicative quote for the building preparation component. Aaron then coordinated and organised the scheduling of the work with the Lift company. He planned the building preparation work, phoning the day prior to ensure everything was still ready for work to commence early the next morning and delivering a covered skip to the house prior in preparation. On the day of the building works, the team arrived punctually and were all friendly, professional and patient in ensuring we were happy with the positioning of the lift template. The team were very skilled in their profession and the works was carried out capably and with very minimal mess. The contract was explained carefully prior to works beginning and copies of the complete contract were provided in soft copy as requested.

This company works to the highest standard with the job specs written down and explained. Any changes are discussed along the way. Aaron, our supervisor communicated effectively throughout the construction and was here to explain the various jobs to the ' tradies' Aaron was highly organised and I would say went over and beyond in his responsibilities Highly Recommended!

We cannot speak highly enough of the level of professionalism and expertise the Hall Team demonstrated carrying out our recent construction. Project Manager Adam, explained the scope of work in detail and made us feel immediately at ease. Adam’s team (Justin, Josh and Curtis) were punctual and knew exactly what was required each day. The team proved to be master craftsmen and were delightful to have in our home. We would strongly recommend the Hall Group and would not hesitate to use their services in the future.

Cheyne, Adam and Jason from Hall Group & Co were a pleasure to work with. Very professional and completed the scope of works on time and on budget. I would highly recommend HG & Co to my contacts if they ever required a renovation.
