Makin Homes built my house a lot quicker than expected and I couldn’t have hoped for a better builder. Lee was truly outstanding with his attention to detail, communication and all round professionalism. I was kept updated with regular communication every step of the way and I can’t overstate the value of having a truly trustworthy builder. The site supervisor (Alex) was also excellent with his attention to detail and communication. I was reluctant to spend the extra money on a custom builder but I’m glad I did because I ended up making several changes throughout the build and Makin Homes helped me keep the total costs within my budget, and were very switched on with adapting to change and making sure I got exactly what I wanted.

Makin Homes completed construction of our 3 storey house in 2015. This was a challenging construction, requiring large retaining walls, an underground cellar, semi-circular staircase, a residential lift, and smart wiring. During the building project, Makin Homes were excellent with communication and we were kept up to date with progress at all times. Changes to the original plan and variations were accommodated with ease. The quality of the completed project is outstanding and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. It is a pleasure for us to recommend Makin Homes to anybody interested in using their services, and we cannot speak highly enough of the service and the quality of build that they provided.

First experience in building a granny flat on my property with Makin Homes. I was very impressed with their time management and they were very organised. They were also very professional and made the process very easy and simple for me. All round I was very pleased with the outcome and the quality of the finished result of the new granny flat. Makin homes undertook our second storey extension and transformed our 37yr old, 3 x 1 brick veneer home into a beautiful 4 x 3 with 2 offices and double garage that is amazing. Lee is a very good communicator and we were always confident that he and his team had everything under control. Our site supervisor was very tuned in to our particular requirements and was well ahead of the game at all stages. Whenever I had a query Colin had already considered it beforehand and always had the correct answer to our queries. Doing a Reno of our nature is never easy and one should always expect unforeseen things to come up from time to time. We were grateful for Makin homes' cheerful approach and "nothing is too hard" attitude. This meant that working through any little problems was a breeze and without stress.
