We purchased a dining table and 6 chairs in spotted gum . Very happy with the quality of this hand made dining suite . From the time we placed our order to delivery and installation all done in a professional manner . Quality Australian made furniture and a lot better quality than the other furniture we looked at in other stores ( made overseas ) . More than happy to recommend this company to anyone

We couldn't find anything suitable locally so took a punt and had a 5m wide Tassie Oak library wall made by Aaron and his team at Timberworx, which was then shipped to Brisbane in 3 pieces. Brilliant final product, as per our sketches and with great communication throughout. We couldn't be happier and thoroughly recommend these guys.

We purchased a wardrobe online from this supplier. We paid upfront, in full and waited the 6 weeks it took them to supposedly custom make the unit. In reality, we suspect they just imported it from China as all the people that work there are Chinese and they do not have any display centre available to the public. The item we received was completely different to what we thought we'd paid for. The photos in the online showed distinct natural hardwood paneling and a higher construction than the unit that was delivered to us. The unit we received was made of single sheet composite materials such as MDF or plywood, with no panels and no natural wood grain. The mirrors were also missing from the unit leaving 2 gaping cavities into the wardrobe's interior. The seller was very clever as even though we paid through an online payment gateway that we thought provided protection to us as buyers, however, these protections did not extend to items classified as "Custom Furniture" which this item was catergorised under. We also paid upfront and there was a 60 day lead time. By the time the seller attempted to delivery our item (60 days after payment) , it was outside the 30 day window for refund through the online payment system. This is all very dodgey. We are still in dispute with this seller who we returned the unit to and STILL has our money 3 months later. We will be seeing the seller at NCAT. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

We bought two custom made pieces of furniture from Timberworx and couldn't be happier. Great quality, made and delivered to our house within the estimated time. Very professional and easy to deal with. And very reasonably priced. I'm considering another piece at the moment, and if I decide to go ahead with it - I'll be going back to Timberworx.

Timberworx created a stunning Tasmanian Oak dining table to our specific dimensions. I hadn't seen it until it was delivered to our new home and I was blown away by the quality. It is even better than we had imagined and we are now going to have more furniture custom made by them. They were brilliant to communicate with and were even able to change the delivery date to a much closer time without any bother. I highly recommend Timberworx for any hardwood you may be wishing to have made for your home.
