Specialising in both high-end renovations and full custom builds Smik Constructions was established in late 2008 and is focused on providing quality building and construction projects with a transparent & honest approach. Steve did a major renovation at my home in Brighton and did a great job. He is a perfectionist and a couple of times had his tradies come back to upgrade their work when it seemed to be completely fine to me. He was always there when he said he would be and always left the worksite neat and clean. He came in on time to the agreed budget even as material cost were rising. I highly recommend him and would definitely use him again for any future work. Rob

Steve at SMIK and his gang of workers are just great at what they do. Steve is such a hard worker and only settles for perfection in his work. Steve and his workers completely renovated my laundry and did a fantastic job. But also they did lots of odd jobs around the house. Steve is very versatile and capable. I highly recommend Steve and SMIK to anyone wanting a big or small job done well.

We chose Steve from Smik Constructions to complete our full bathroom renovation. We had a strict budget and he advised he could fulfil the job within that request. Whilst we did go over slightly over budget in the end, it was due to our house being rather old, and certain walls that were not symmetrical. He was professional throughout the project. If there was something that we weren't happy with or wanted to change he was always approachable and assisted us in modifying without fuss, Each request was completed on time, and he provided excellent quality of workmanship. He was also extremely communicative as to what was happening during the whole process. We would highly recommend Steve from Smik Constructions for any bathroom or home renovation.

Steve created a bespoke built-in wardrobe in our Art deco home using recycled building materials, the completed robe matches perfectly the period features of the room. Steve's ability to modify the design to suit the space restrictions in the room was invaluable, as was the obvious skill and care taken to turn our concept in a reality. We highly recommend SMIK Constructions and would use them again in the future.
