“I contacted Rande after researching some designers in my area. I had been working with another designer on a complete remodel of my house. After the construction was completed, I felt the designer wasn't getting where I wanted to go with the interior design and so when I met with Rande I felt she understood what was wrong and where this project needed to go in order to finish it. I had been working on this project for a few years and I was exhausted. Rande made it so easy for me! She put together a presentation and gave me a few options and when I couldn't make a decision, I put my trust in her experience, taste and knowledge. We are very close to finishing and I am absolutely thrilled with everything. It has truly been a pleasure working with Rande and her darling assistant, Emilie.”

“AE Design has given my family our dream house and home. Every day I wake up so happy to be living in such a beautiful space, even a year later there's nothing I'd change. I first found Amy on Instagram after I'd seen a beautiful kitchen she'd designed with Schoolhouse pulls that I was in love with. I knew I'd be happy in many of the spaces that I saw in her portfolio. Lucky for us, she was able to fit our new house into her schedule. I did have a hesitation, I was concerned that we as clients were more than a bit "tone deaf" when it came to style - how would I know when we needed to be pushed even if we didn't like it, or when we needed to say no and hope for another option? What I soon learned was that Amy is a genius when it comes to interpreting her clients' true style even when they don't know it themselves. AE Design handled our remodeling and interior design. They worked seamlessly with our contractor. The designs were impeccable and they're such pros that they knew exactly when to show up to make sure that the work was being done as planned. Our contractor was fabulous, but even so, I was amazed at how many things they caught that would have been costly to fix or would have been annoying to live with - raising the shower and stove hood to accommodate my husband's height, changing the color of the wood of the built-ins to coordinate with floors, making sure the tub was in a better location, making sure the tiles had the right pattern, moving the lights over the island, and the list goes on. Once the house was ready I knew I wanted the same touch when it came to furniture - Amy was really able to understand what I wanted even when I didn't. She was very patient if something just didn't seem to work for us and would try to come up with another design that better suited our taste. We also had the constraints of needing furnishing that worked for two small kids, which she handled flawlessly. We love our space - it's comfortable, beautiful and functional and best of all it feels like us...if we had style. Thank you AE DESIGN!”

“It is a challenge to write a review of such excellence in every phase and detail without sounding hyperbolic or seeming to over-praise but indeed every piece of this house other than the original floorplan is custom designed from the floors to the walls to the architecture inside. Even the books on the tables, decorations, and plants were either their choice of or by our approval and agreement with them. The house was built from a dirt lot to the finished product in this project. JAC Interiors principals Andrea, Christine, and Tim were with us in every step of building, furnishing, and decorating our Home. We moved from a large home in Los Angeles and did not take one piece of furniture. We took a few favorite items and a couple of small pieces of art. Most importantly, they listened to us and built us the house we wanted. They directed us to great choices but it was always about them hearing what we loved. They showed great respect for the budget and kept us updated along the way. The results are truly stunning. Every seat or table or sofa or bed is comfortable as well as beautiful. We moved in with sheets on the bed, art on the walls, and our toothbrushes in hand. It was so complete that we had house guests stay only 3 days after we moved in. These amateur photos do not do the project justice. The house is going to be professionally photographed by a photographer who wishes to submit this project for publication. We are considering the publication part, but I will add some professional photos after the shoot if we are allowed. Oh. ...one more thing. They are delightful people who showed genuine care and concern for us. I will hope to have them as our guests for dinner at the house.”
