I+D Styling experience spans across residential, commercial, schools and aged care. Our styling provides a range of services from consultation and layout recommendations through to complete specifications and fit-out management. We have expertise in colour consulting, fabric design and furniture manufacture which allows for custom designs through our network of incredible suppliers. Whether it be a child’s bedroom that needs a new fresh look or an office space that requires updating, our team has the experience to transform any space for any budget. Located in one of Sydney’s best beachside locations we were appointed to design, renovate and style a 3 bedroom /2 bathroom apartment with stunning views over Manly beach. Our collaborative approach with the owner was to achieve an easy to maintain home and reflect it’s beachside environment and location. By re-configuring the floor plan and removing some internal walls, we were able to achieve a flow through connection to the beach environment outside. A new study, open plan bedroom, new kitchen, lounge area and key form changes were some of the design changes. Two bathrooms were completely renovated with terrazzo tiles and organic and textural materials gave the home an extremely inviting and contemporary ambiance. Some of our design challenges were to accommodate a very low ceiling height which required specially sourced feature lighting and also designing a clever solution to utilise existing plumbing in both bathrooms. All building and strata codes were adhered to and we achieved our client’s budget and tight deadline of a completed apartment in 3 months.
