About Us

Jeanette Maxwell is an accomplished interior designer on Sydney's North Shore. Having been awarded the Design in Excellence Award while studying at the International School of Colour and Design, Jeanette has gone on to be nominated for, and win, other prestigious design awards in Australia and overseas. But it is not her awards that set Jeanette apart; it is her passion for creating beautiful interiors for her clients. Whether it is simply advising on colour schemes, furniture placement, renovating a kitchen or bathroom, or bringing together a complete interior concept, Jeanette works closely with her clients to ensure they are a part of the creative journey. Jeanette's residential work extends from spacious, modern rural homes, through to beautiful Federation and Art Deco styles, and warehouse apartments; she also has experience in commercial offices and reception areas.

JM Design - Jeanette Maxwell, Jeanette has an amazing knowledge of design and decorating. She presents very well, pleasant , confident efficient, she understands the need to meet budgets, interpret my requirements, Jeanette assisted greatly in replanning the design of my kitchen /powder room /laundry and media room, once completed it will work so much better, than previously. She also suggested re orienting one room which has made a huge difference to the flow of the area. Her suppliers are impressive , she has a great source of suppliers with varied levels of pricing and quality. The trades she deals with , and has done for many years are so professional and perfectionists. Could not recommend her more highly

Jeanette has worked on 3 houses of mine over the last 13 years and I have been delighted with everything she has done. She has done bathrooms, colours and furnishings in each of my houses and her knowledge of products and colours is second to none. She is easy to work with and never pushes her opinions, but listens to the client and provides guidance so the finished result reflects the clients taste.
