the living room was made beautiful

I loved working with Jo, she made it all come together effortlessly. To understand the fine balance between a style you are wanting to achieve, the way the room is used and all that is existing was second nature to Jo. She is so well researched it was a pleasure to be part of. I hope to work together again

We have had the pleasure of Jo's expertise on three separate occasions and each time we have been so incredibly happy with the result. Jo will look at the room or rooms, working out how the room would work best. She then talks through what style you are looking for and takes onboard all of your likes and dislikes. She then somehow miraculously comes up with the exact furniture and accessories that you saw in your head but have never been able to find! Jo's contacts mean that she can source furniture you can't find in store often at a wholesale cost. Each time we have worked with Jo we have more than paid for her consulting costs through savings on the furniture. You also don't waste money buying furniture and accessories that don't work. I would never furnish a house by myself again. She is so professional, so skilled at her work but also just lovely and fun to work with. Thank you Jo!

We knew our living areas needed complete renovation and re-decorating, but with no time and no idea about what to tackle first, we turned to Jo Carmichael, who was recommended by a friend. After an initial consult, Jo provided us with a beautiful and comprehensive ideas book that showed she had listened to what we wanted in our space, but also that she knew what changes would make the biggest difference (in our case - replacing our ugly old slate floor tiles with beautiful wooden flooring and creating new zones with lighting). Jo then organised all the individual contractors for the flooring, painting, blinds and lighting and met us at various shops to look at samples. She spent so much time helping with furniture decisions and was always quick to reply to my emails and texts. The end result is so beautiful and it makes such a difference to our lives to really love the space we spend most time in. I cannot recommend Jo highly enough. She has an amazing aesthetic sense and a very shrewd eye for simple and elegant design that really suited us. Thank you Jo!

Jo is nothing short of amazing! We worked together over a few months and she's helped transform our beautiful new house into a home we absolutely adore. She is wonderful at incorporating your taste with ideas you wouldn't have thought of that work super well together. I can't speak highly enough of her.

Jo Carmichael is a very talented individual; she oozes taste and style and like many stylists, have her fingers on the pulse. That's great but more importantly, Jo has a fantastic ability to understand your individual needs, interpret your style and produce what you want, not necessarily what she likes or what's in trend. To find a stylist with listening and interpreting skills is unique. On a similar note, Jo is simply a pleasure to spend time with - it's always fun and enlightening to work together, and never a chore or a conflict. These simple traits of kindness and understand are what makes Jo so great - aside from her incredible styling skills - and is why I highly recommend Jo.

Jo Carmichael at textre.tone.design was worth her weight in gold for the amazing service she provided to the styling and finishing of our home. Having lost all personal drive to complete this project past the building phase, Jo was exactly what we needed to walk us through this vital stage of completion. Her eye for all detail married all aspects of functionality, together with our own personal taste and we have ended up with a home that we not only love but didn't break the budget in aquiring. Our living spaces are an absolute pleasure to be in and the feedback from visitors is nothing short of "Wow!".

Commented: Colors used for the wall and ceilingWe used Dulux Stepney on the lower part of the wall and silkwort on the higher section. The ceilings are builders' white (ceiling white with a dash of ocre)
