We had used LynIN Interior Planning when they and us were based in Brisbane. We now live in a 'shed house' near Uki in Northern NSW. The brief was to help us update a kitchen but at the same time retain a 'retro shack vibe'. Janice who is now based in Mission Beach was patient and knowledgable throughout the design process and guided us through some difficult project decisions. Amazingly, this was all achieved remotely via Facetime and the Internet. We now have a beautiful kitchen that is better than we ever imagined was possible. lynIN interior planning, design, coordination worked with me on a major renovation of the bathroom in my townhouse. The brief was to create a space that felt more spacious and light within the constraints of the room size and current plumbing arrangement. Janice's experience was invaluable in the conceptualisation, design, planning and coordination of the renovation. I knew little about the task of renovating a bathroom but she patiently guided me through the process. I appreciated that she worked at my pace and gave me time to arrive at decisions that ensured the outcome reflects my needs. Janice’s many years of experience and knowledge provided me with useful ideas and opened up options for different solutions to the constraints of the small space we had to work with. I felt overwhelmed by the process of selecting all the various elements that are brought together in a bathroom but Janice kept me on track, providing me with support where appropriate and working at my pace through this process. Her excellent knowledge of products also helped me through the maze. I’m thrilled with the final selections that have both style and functionality. A particular example of this was the shower/bath which had to be as low as possible. The shower/bath sourced by Janice works perfectly as a shower and a soaking bath. The plans she prepared for the project also helped me to visualise it all and feel more confident that I would get the outcome I sought from the tradespeople undertaking the work. My budget for the project was not completely fixed. I was more concerned with getting the outcome I wanted. When the budget was challenged Janice was able to make good suggestions about where we could make savings and reduce costs while also maintaining the overall vision and desired outcome. lynIN also took on the task of coordinating the project and brought together a good team of tradespeople to get the job done. Janice met her deadlines and took away the stress of ensuring the work of those on site was up to standard and completed satisfactorily. She was very professional in her engagement with the various trades and sought to bring out the best in their work. I am very happy with the outcome and am looking forward to luxuriating in my bathroom that feels much more spacious, light and functional. I would definitely recommend lynIn’s services for any renovation.
