I was lucky enough to stumble across N.B. Interiors through this website. From the first meeting I knew Nicky was the right fit for our project. She really listens, and hears you when your explaining your likes/dislikes & how you like to live in your space, and her completed designs totally reflect that. We were provided with coloured plans and photos of her vision for furniture placement, colour schemes, and materials. It’s all so accurate & you get a really clear idea of the end outcome, it’s very exciting. Everything ended up being exactly as I had visualised. Nicky also has amazing contacts & stockists that have very unique pieces that you just won’t see anywhere else. I really appreciated how Nicky is involved in every aspect. If there is a delivery, she’s there to accept, check and install things exactly how they should be. Nicky transformed our downstairs room by including a kitchenette, cupboards, a fold down bed and furniture transforming this space into a into a stylish teenagers' retreat. Nicky is particularly good with tones and textures bringing a contemporary flare to her creations. I highly recommend her work.

I bought an old rundown art-deco flat earlier this year, it was dark, moldy and had seen better days. I had difficulty imaging how it could be renovated to lighten it up, create more storage and enhance the old art- deco features and I had no idea where to start. Nicky from NB interiors was brilliant, she totally understood what I was trying to envisage and offered a range of options as to how we could improve the place and lighten it up. I immediately felt a rapport with Nicky as she has a warm, confident manner which is totally reassuring. We renovated the bathroom and kitchen, replaced carpet and repainted the entire flat and the place looks great, really light, stylish and more than a nod to its art-deco features. I am very happy with the work by NIcky, she is a talented designer and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone undertaking a renovation.

Nicky Baruch was highly recommended by two clients and assisted us with redecoration of our living areas, plus verandah, plus painting inside and out of our Californian bungalow home. We were delighted with the results, with her professional approach to us as clients and with her ability to respond to all of our comments regarding suggested change. We engaged NB Interiors for our previous large heritage home where we had lived for 33 years. Every room in our home was upgraded with selected furniture, artworks and of course furnishings and revised paint colours. This work also involved the design of one of the bathrooms and upgrading of the ensuite. The experience of the staff and the tireless searching for just the right item was extremely impressive, resulting in a superb result. We have recently downsized and moved to a new modern Villa, and once again NB Interiors was called. Little of the furniture from our large heritage house would fit into the Villa but selected items have been blended with elegant modern furniture with once again a superb result. We could not be more pleased and have recommended NB Interiors to several of our friends.

I engaged Nicky Baruch to make over a property I wanted to put on Stayz in the inner west.. Although I am a designer myself, I don't have Nicky's flair for creating engaging living spaces, so I sought her help. Nicky in her usual efficient way, did a great job with little fuss and a great eye to detail in the very short time frame i gave her. Nicky also assisted with procuring items for the apartment and window dressing it for photography. She also took the photos which I put on Stayz. The result is we have an apartment which obviously has great appeal to prospective tenants, because it has gone to number three on Stayz in this area and has been rented out continually since we put it on 2 months ago. Every tenant has commented on the 'great' interior. We could not be happier and there is no one else I would have trusted to do this job so well. I have worked with Nicky commercially and on this project and she never lets me down. I cannot recommend her enough. She is a true professional and a nice person too.

Nicky of N.B. Interiors designed a new kitchen, entertainment unit and laundry/guest room for us. The design and detailed drawings she provided meant the cabinet makers could work to a fully specified criteria without any surprises during the process. The communication and understanding we received from Nicky were unsurpassed and she had a full understanding of our budget and needs. Although our project took a little longer to start than we anticipated, Nicky was very patient and was on hand to answer any questions we had. She gave us a couple of options to choose from and provided a full mood board of ideas and colours for us to contemplate. I would recommend N.B. Interiors not only for the amazing ideas and inspiration provided but also for the friendly communication and quality of design.

My apartment was an essentially dysfunctional studio which Nicky inventively redesigned with great insight and panache. This Potts Point bunker became a stylish one-bedroom apartment with smart, functional features and clever built-ins, allowing its original Art Deco character to shine. Nicky co-ordinated with her builder for a total demolition of walls and dilapidated ceilings, as well as the re-installation of new wiring and plumbing, throughout. The revised floorplan plan converted the old-fashioned kitchen into a sleek and beautiful bathroom. A contemporary open plan kitchen was a seamless addition to the designer mix and the use of pink-flecked Himalayan stone for the bench tops revealed Nicky's fine artistic eye and brilliant colour sense. The value of my apartment has increased enormously as a result of Nicky's renovations and my happy tenant never wants to leave.

I was asked by my in-laws to help them with the sale of their house as it had been on the market for a few months without any luck and they were running short of time. I saw that they actually needed some professional help and engaged Nicky from N.B. Interiors to provide a makeover within a set budget and time frame. Nicky created a totally new colour scheme which transformed the character of the house, both inside and out. She then rearranged and decluttered much of the interior, specified shutters to replace curtains and rearranged lighting. The changes were fantastic considering how much difference they made to the character of the house within both a tight budget and short amount of time. The house went back on the market and sold straight away. We could not have been happier with what Nicky did, and the fact that she was so easy to deal with during a stressful time, made it much easier than we had expected. I would heartily recommend her.

My wife and I decided on a "tree change" from Sydney in 2014, and bought a house whose character and location really appealed to us, much more in fact than the layout and decor. We asked Nicky to provide some initial proposals based on our relaxed living style and eclectic tastes. Within an hour of her first visit she surprised us by coming up with superb ideas not only regarding colour schemes, but also how we could change aspects of the structure to more suit the house's orientation, especially in regards to the extensive views to the east. She showed that although the new house was almost twice the size of our previous one, our furniture and art collection could be arranged in a way that made sense of the larger spaces. Although our previous house with its water views was of a very different character to our new Mountain house, her sensitive readjustment and reuse of some our existing furniture made them perfectly suit, and meant little dislocation to our lives We are continuing to engage Nicky with stage 2 of our project, and know it will have as happy an outcome.

N.B Interiors performed an initial inspection of my unit, following this an estimate of the cost of fitting out the unit was provided. After my acceptance, the design was created. NB Interiors then sourced all the furniture and supervised the project through to the completion including the delivery. The end result is that I'm very happy with how my unit looks now.

We engaged Nicky to completely furnish, decorate and set up our Sanctuary Cove holiday house over a relatively short time period. After briefing her she took the initiative and came up with mood boards which reflected our preferences perfectly. Due to the short lead time the range of available furnishings was limited but despite this she sourced items which matched the brief. She was able to set up the whole house in two days, co-ordinating the removalist, who transported all the items from Sydney, local delivery of appliances and removal of all packaging material. When we arrived the next day it exceeded our expectations. We felt entirely at home. We would not hesitate to recommend Nicky for any similar project.

We were introduced to Nicky Baruch when we engaged LDA to design our renovation to our home. Nicky has since started her own consulting business N.B. Interiors. We were thrilled with her design solutions to eliminate our dysfunctional split level design of the living area as well as the kitchen & bathroom. We now have a home that flows beautifully with all on one level & a new bigger deck. The kitchen design is perfect, as is the bathroom. We just love being at home now & everyday feel gratitude for the changes Nicky created for us. I absolutely love cooking in my kitchen as the design is inspirational for cooking pleasure. Nicky's selection of colours & furnishing still look as good as new. We wouldn't hesitate to engage Nicky again.

Nicky has advised and assisted me in re-decorating my apartment from painting, new curtains and carpet, through to furnishings and artwork. NB Interiors was a pleasure to work with and exhibited professionalism, originality and responsiveness to my brief in equal measure. When I initially enlisted this company, I was not myself entirely sure of the extent or scope of the works required, and although I had some ideas of my own, definitely needed guidance from someone who knew the ins and outs of a residential refurbishment. Nicky's personal warmth and communicative approach made it easier to develop the project in ways I had not envisioned and to bring a high degree of resolution to the layout, furniture selections, colour choices and decorative elements that were required. I would highly recommend this business and indeed have already referred several friends.

We initially engaged Nicky from NB Interiors to help us select a new colour scheme for the repainting of the interior / exterior of our Californian bungalow home. We had always stuck with traditional colours for this period of home and now wanted something a bit different. Nicky came up with a fresh and original colour scheme which showcased the beautiful features of the house and at the same time respected its location in a heritage area. Her attention to detail when supervising the painters ensured a quality finish which meet her high standards. We next engaged Nicky to redesign the interiors of the bedrooms for our 2 children who were young teenagers. The brief was to provide them with sufficient storage and study space , but keep it fun. On both projects, Nicky provided valuable and original ideas which were both practical and efficient, she took responsibility for the project and was a pleasure to work with. We would recommend her highly.

Nicky designed some stunning interior spaces for me - she is practical, mindful of cost and has made good easy to live with solutions for me and my partner. She has a great eye for detail and understands design and art - couldn't not recommend her highly enough. She is great.

I have used Nicky's guidance and expertise for decorating three homes now. I marvel as each and every time she was able to go straight into my mind with what I wanted. Just recently Nicky re-did my second bedroom. Again, I was more than delighted. I am going to be re-painting soon and will call upon Nicky to help me with colours and wall paper.
