The home is a place that is comforting, it holds every thing together, containing everything we hold dear. It's stability & love, It has a purpose that we all desire whether we realise that or not. So what do I do when I’m not designing or styling peoples homes? Well, of course I love my two beautiful children & juggle being a mum, work and trying to have some - me time, that was ‘try’… When I do get to have that valuable down time I absolutely love to trek & mountain climb, being out in nature is my soul food and where my inspiration comes from! I love doing a 10 hour trek in the bush or on the beaches or a trail run (for charity). The summit of a mountain after a 9 hour climb, feeling like I’m on top of the world, what a sense of achievement… Everything I see, feel, smell, sense and touch… Engaging all the senses, this is what I’m always mindful of and wish to relate in my work, to satisfy the soul on every level! I have worked for many years doing residential renovation projects, which has encouraged me to start my own business as an Interior Designer & Stylist. I love nothing more than sharing my knowledge & inspiring others to find their inner passion & desires. Daydreaming, forming design ideas & working together to create a place of happiness and joy in everyday lives. I think the most important design attribute is to be able to listen and note what clients want and require. Their personality, dislikes and things they love. I also strongly believe that design is not just about what you can see… I want my clients to feel & sense the mood of the space and get excited about it. Aroma, Colour, Spatial Flow and Balance play a huge part in creating what that space does for you mentally and physically. I have the visualization skills to perceive what a space looks like finished, whilst I’m still designing it! My inspirations come from the heart, to me interior design & styling isn’t just about what’s on the outside its all about finding what’s on the inside & embracing that to create a lifestyle that reflects the clients desires.
