We recently built our dream home and Renae from RBID designed it for us. Initially we were not sure if we needed an interior designer but I couldn't have been happier. Renae was absolutely amazing throughout the journey. She spent a lot of time understanding our vision and recommending textures and colors to try and design a house that was cozy, comfortable and warm. She was pivotal in steering us in the right direction with her invaluable ideas and suggestions. The communication and attention to detail was top notch. We would have not achieved the house we have today if we didn't work with RBID. I would highly recommend her and would love to work with her again if we ever built another house.

We recently sought advise from Renae Barrass for our kitchen and bathroom renovation. Renae had been recommended to us by a friend. Renae came to our home and spent time learning about the house, our tastes, and how we live within the home. Renae returned back to our house with 4 designs, and help led us visualise the options. We used one of Renae’s designs and were very happy with the results. Renae also helped with choosing colours for painting. We would highly recommend Renae as her service was prompt, professional, friendly, understanding of our needs, and personal. My wife and I were seeking some help with our designing the kitchen for our new house, and so needed the help of a great interior designer and joinery designer. Thankfully we met Renae before we got too far in! Renae was absolutely fantastic in helping us make some final decisions on finishes and layout, and really saved us lots of money. We are super happy with the input that Renae provided, especially being able to work at hourly rate, and helping guide the most important decisions for us. With ideas of grandeur and aspirations of being on “Grand Designs”, my husband and I decided to renovate our home. With my eye on mid century architecture and my husband being all about stark contrasts and minimalism I was not sure how we could create something we both loved. After some time trawling websites I found www.banyulemodern.blogspot.com.au - a website that is all about mid century architecture, and houses that are either for sale locally, or homes that have inspired someone or something. After spending hours on the site, admiring, imagining, and dreaming. I came across the website's author, Renae Barass from RBID (Renae Barass Interior Designs). Working with the supremely clever Renae Barass was fun and collaborative from first step, to last. Our ideas were met with encouragement and advice, and redirected when misplaced. From drafts through to furniture selection, Renae has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. We are thankful for the home that Renae has helped us create, and every day we come home, we are reminded of not only someone with great talent, but someone who helped us translate our ideas, and produce something we would have gotten so wrong on our own.
