Rochele Decorating provides interior design, interior decorating, colour consulting and project management throughout south east Queensland. Kate the owner and head interior decorator began her career in decorative design by producing and selling original artworks more than 15 years ago. Now, she’s the lead, qualified colour consultant and interior decorator for Rochele where she employs her artistic talent to transform commercial and residential properties into exciting, vibrant and beautiful spaces. As an artist, mum and gifted decorator, Kate loves using her creativity to “work closely with people, bounce ideas around and have it come together in a finished product that people love”. Kate still works as an artist as well, creating colourful, contemporary images with chalk pastels, oils and acrylic. Her versatile style is ideal for producing custom works that incorporate a specific theme and colour palette to elegantly compliment any décor. One of Kate’s favourite aspects of decorating is the hunting and gathering process. She loves searching for key pieces that perfectly fit the space and add the extras needed to bring a room to life. At the heart of Kate’s decorating philosophy is collaboration. She believes that working with a decorator is a great way for anyone to let their personal style shine.
