Stirling Interior Design

The impulsive decision to seek the help of an interior decorator for my "living area" redecorate has been so worthwhile !...apprehensive at first I was worried my meagre budget wouldn't be workable, or that showing my hodge podge of a home would be shameful to share with a stranger. Rayma from Stirling Interiors cut through all that to give me a practical solution within my budget, and pushed me to consider different options I wouldn't otherwise see on my own. I've ended up with a character filled home that feels balanced and harmonious, and I had a lot of fun along the way ! All during Level 4 lockdown !

Our reception and public areas were in desperate need of a “refresh” we engaged Rayma Stirling to assist with this and she completed the task on budget using her skills to update and refresh without overkill. When the job was completed it was like night and day and we have received many compliments, from both staff and clients, on our new look.

I contacted Rayma because I was wanting to do a simple refresh of our home at the same time as we were having new carpet laid. I didn’t want to have to buy new furniture or anything major, but simply see if Rayma could give us some guidance on placement of existing furnishings and accessories after the carpet had been laid and we were unpacking the house again. Rayma has a great eye for design and made excellent suggestions for relocating items that we already had, as well as suggestions for new cushions and other small items which would add to the refresh. It is amazing how making small, easy changes has smartened up our home. Rayma has a real sense of style and she was very pleasant and easy to work with Subsequently, we asked Rayma to help come up with a colour scheme for the exterior of our home and she came up with a few different combinations of paint colours and went out of her way to work in with our likes and dislikes. We will definitely ask Rayma to help out with our next upgrade.

Rayma Stirling created an interior design for our downstairs area at our family home in Wainui. We couldn't be happier! Rayma fully listened to us, and came back with multiple options that were creative and original, but also affordable. I cannot recommend Rayma’s service highly enough. Rayma agreed to help with a colour scheme for the exterior of our 70’s home. Working with brick cladding made choosing colours by myself a challenge, as I wanted to up-date and freshen our look. Rayma took photos of the exterior on her way in to our visit. She used these to test different colours on the house and this really helped me to visualise the changes. She was happy to to work with different paint ranges to achieve the look I was happy with. I found Rayma to be approachable and accepting of my wishes, and she easily cast her magic to come up with a cohesive scheme that suited us admirably. I also very much appreciate Rayma popping in tid bits of advice and suggestions for further development in the future.
