Our experience with kitchen connections has been a sheer delight. From the beginning to completion of project , we put our trust in the professionals and I could not speak more highly of the whole team. Many thanks to you all. Allan and Lee

Warranty regarding installation honoured. The initial install was faulty. When this was bought to the attention of the company, the manager immediately made arrangements for the work to be repaired. Very happy otherwise with the product.

Contracts that leave you at risk of losing money if you pull out even because they aren’t doing a good job. I was lied to about features in my kitchen being in my contract. Now they’re offing to let me pay extra for what was supposed to be in the price. Terrible communication between the company and myself. Even worse communication between the company itself. I was constantly getting calls for the next measurement, which is a progress payment despite telling them I needed information and to have contact with the bloke running the job. You’ll have to pay every dollar before job completion leaving you with no leverage when you don’t get what you’ve asked for and been told what was in your contract. Raw unfinished surfaces are what they do! I have multiple areas in my kitchen that are uncovered raw laminate. I’m regretting not looking at other reviews before I signed the contract. Which they do predatory sales of designing your kitchen, showing it to you then saying you can either sign the contract or they leave and delete your design. The edit: So I’ve had Kitchen connection come out to inspect the job after countless emails. They took the meeting with myself and a witness. They inspected the job, stated that they would fix the problems. This list includes poorly hung doors, damaged draw, damaged pantry, incorrectly sized stone benches, gaps in kitchen, damage to laminate. Their solution includes : silicone large holes, cover not replace damage, not actually fix stone bench's but move them a little. Then gaslight me about saying they would fix the stone bench tops saying it was never said. (That was done with a witness present and an email trail to prove it) my stone benches were left with a powder I can only assume is silica dust. They said it would settle in a couple of hours. Not worried about the health and safety implications of a fine powder blowing around in a house with a small child. It did not settle in a couple of hours. I’ve multiple videos to prove that. (I’m thankful the stone bench installers took it seriously and came and cleaned the issue) I was then told if I took my bad review down they would look at installing the sliding draws in my pantry (ones I was told by the designer were in my contract at the quoted price). At this stage I’ve made several complaints including the qbcc (if you’re in Queensland) and the next step is legal action. If you look at the reviews like mine you’re going to see heaps of similar ones. I’m putting this up in the hope that it saves people from going through this hell and heartache. Long story (not so) short, don’t use them. It hasn’t been easy, it hasn’t been seamless (as they advertised), it’s been frustrating and I’ve never had so many issues with a company. Don’t get burned, go elsewhere.

Installing our kitchen through Kitchen Connection was the worst experience. Our KC representative was to supposed to have organised everything, but constantly we had to rebook trades and take time off work to be on site. After the cupboards installation we had to arrange for them to be fixed as they weren’t straight and there were chips and marks everywhere. Then the Plumbing had to be redone, the stonemason had to come back because of chips and marks in the bench top. Then we had dodgy tiling work done that is now cracked. Absolutely fed up with this company and no project management whatsoever. They are happy for you to pay up front, but then you are virtually at the whim of their incompetent tradesmen!!!

I’m so annoyed with the designer lady that came to our house. The heat she was putting on us to pay the deposit was unreal. My husband told her he wasn’t putting any money down today and said he felt pressured and she showed no emotion. Her demeanour completely changed once she knew we weren’t locking anything in. She made a phone call basically telling her boss the deal was off and abruptly got up and left. Said she’d “let herself out”. My husband owns his own bricklaying company and quite frankly, would be bankrupt if he demanded a deposit from every new enquiry customer. Would not recommend.

Great experience! Despite some minor setbacks, we received a great kitchen. Great communications, very punctual! Overall we are very pleased and love our new kitchen! Our designer James was also incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with a great advice about the design. Thank you! We definitely recommend!

Had a quote from kitchen connections that came to our house and claimed that we must sign asap or the 50% off cabinets would not be available. The sales rep didn't explain any of the dodgy terms and conditions that kitchen connections use. 1. No cooling off period. If you make a deposit regardless if you change your mind immediately. They will keep all your deposit regardless of how much your deposit is. Contract law won't give you a cooling off period unless over 20k in Queensland. They are aware of this however will not tell you and the loss of deposit. Lost $1300 to their company because of extremely unfair contract for customers, even though I called the next day to cancel. 2. You have to pay the trades directly and are not included in the price. Their contract states that the quotes for trades are only an estimate and a trades person could request any amount they require to complete the job. 3. Quick signing up method. Come to your house, stay for long period of time to price the quote. No chance to read or contemplate or read the contract before it's under your nose and need to sign up straight away or the incredible deal will disappear. I explained the situation to the manager that we simply made a error in signing and couldn't afford the cost, said he would try to get our money back. No money back. $1300 down the drain for no services or products received because of unethical contracts all in their favour Truley unethical and morally wrong to take money for no services completed.

We were offered a discount on our cabinetry and foolishly signed up. The quality was not good and service ended after we signed the contract. These are cheap cabinets that are flat pack and pre made. We had numerous issues and had to have the company back twice to fix them. We still have a drawer that requires being screwed back into place to work every now and then. Also our bin drawer doesn’t fully close. We have since undertaken another kitchen renovation in an investment home and have used another provider. It was a better product, service, outcome - a truly different experience with a good company. We did learn a lot from this highly stressful situation -- would definitely not recommend unless you want a dodgy expensive kitchen and don’t need properly working drawers!

Our experience with Kitchen Connection from start to finish has been excellent. We had a tricky layout and loved the design that they implemented. Showroom staff at Mt Gravatt were great and our trades were also good. I would definitely recommend them.

Happy with the end result. Fixture and fittings were great. Frank the designer was great to deal with and so was the installer, Glen Toombs.

We were so excited to finally be able to renovate our kitchen, we decided to go with Kitchen Connection as the Sales people in the front of house were lovely, friendly and really caring. The Kitchen designer was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. After we paid and things started to move forward mistakes started happening, this was once things were handed over to the Project Manger who I feel, is spread to thinly over too many projects to be able to give you the time and service you are paying for. I believe this is how the mistakes kept happening, he was not on site when the trades were, which I believe is the role of a Project Manager. When you are paying $25,000 + for a Kitchen I do not think it is too much to ask for a person to be on site for Trades, we are not experienced in this field, they are. It was assumed all along that we knew details of the process which we did not or had no way of knowing how a kitchen should be installed, benchtop requirements, sink installs, templating of Stone. This is what we paid Kitchen Connection for. In saying all this we are still without our Kitchen, our Stone Benchtop was not cut correctly, the undermount sinks do not line up, to fix this they decided to cut our $1000 sinks down to fit, instead of doing what they should have done recut the stone. They have not put our Cutlery Drawer in the correct place, we have a oversized drawer now for our cutlery, our Pan Drawer is undersized. To fix this properly they would have to redo the cabinetry for basically half the kitchen. They have not at this point come forward and admitted they have made these mistakes, instead trying to get us to pay a third of the cost of a new stone bench top, as they say they can fix the issue by essentially cutting the cabinetry under the sink, this would then be an unsealed piece of wood in a wet area! They say this is "Standard Practice". We have emailed the State Manager, the National Sales Manager, the Managing Director, we are waiting some sort of response to these emails. At this point we have no resolution and we are stuck in two rooms of our house, our 1 year old twins are in one room all day as the lounge room, kitchen dining room is all unfinished, apparently this has no impact on how how quickly they made decisions, they are more focused on trying to get out of paying for a new stone top than servicing their customers. In the scheme of things as a large company, they should accept responsibility for mistakes and rectify them asap. These mistakes above are only the major ones, there have been numerous small things go wrong but have been fixed, the installer Glen has been amazing, one good thing in a very disappointing process.
