Matt at Melbourne Joinery Services was great to work with. He did our kitchen and laundry and they look fantastic. Matt went above and beyond to get the job done in a super tight time frame.

Cannot recommend highly enough! I have just completed a major renovation with Melbourne Joinery Services putting in a brand new kitchen, laundry, and separate kitchenette. From start to finish, it has been a pleasure dealing with Matt and his team. I had almost put the kitchen/laundry renovation in the too hard basket after having been mucked around by several big name kitchen companies, but decided to try a local cabinet maker. Having not used a cabinet maker previously and having no recommendations to go off, I took a bit of a risk by just choosing MJS off google. Matt came around to quote, and from the first meeting I was confident about my choice to use MJS. It is rare to deal with a trade that is as professional and genuinely helpful as Matt – great bloke! He has a wealth of knowledge, and was able to provide advice on every aspect of my design, in terms of what would work and what would not, based on his past experience. What was even more rare was to receive my full written quote the morning after his visit – no mucking around. The quote was more than reasonable, and based on my interactions with Matt to that point, I had no hesitation in proceeding. Over several months, Matt patiently went back and forth with me over the design (and re-design of the kitchen) – whereas I think most other businesses would become frustrated. Matt was more than happy to accommodate all my requests and would thoroughly explain the pros and cons of different materials/designs etc. that I was considering, allowing me to make an informed decision. Matt was also always contactable and at no point made me feel like my hundreds of questions were getting annoying! With all my cabinetry and stone benchtops now installed, without defect, I can say from experience that MJS are extremely good at what they do, and we absolutely love our kitchen/laundry/kitchenette. Due to the time invested by Matt in assisting with the design, I can also say there is not a single thing about the kitchen I would change or have done differently – which is no small feat considering the size of the job. The professionalism does not just end with Matt – his two guys were also fantastic to work with, who again were genuinely interested in us being happy with the end result. No request was ever too much. Matt’s stonemason was also excellent – very courteous and the install was flawless. I don’t often write reviews, and certainly none this long, but I feel it is the least I can do for MJS after the service I received. If I ever have any other joinery requirements, I will just be going straight to MJS!

Matt was really knowledgeable and helpful during the design process, took changes and issues in his stride, delivered everything on time and made sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. I have engaged the services of MJS on several occasions now, the most recent being last month (march 19) In November 2017 I had a brand new kitchen install from MJS as well as a office and bathroom renovation. The pride and care taken in all aspects of these jobs was incredible, Matt was open to all my ideas, even the crazy ones and guided me through the process which made it easy, Matt was very aware of my budget and made the kitchen the absolute best it could be with this consideration. Matt completed all aspects of the job in the time frame he first told me. After the kitchen Renovation I later sold my home and i have no hesitation in saying that i received a great price because of my kitchen, bathroom and office fit out. Since moving to a new home, I have had MJS complete a new office fit out as well as a bathroom and some other areas of joinery, MJS as always are punctual, tidy and friendly, always taking care of my home and belongings. I have never had any issues or problems with any of the work Matt and his team have carried out for me. Matt has also done a new kitchen install at my Childcare Centre, as well as after my recommendation, Matt also has completed a kitchen install at my parents home. I would rate MJS and his team a 10/10. I promise you wont be disappointed in the work provided! I am happy to be contacted for a verbal reference at any time.

We completed a full home renovation about 2 years ago. Since then we have recommended MJS to many other people. I absolutely love all my cabinets. They look great and are of really good quality. I believe MJS’s pricing was also very reasonable for all the work completed. Matt is so easy to work with, he’s very polite and professional. I would have no hesitations recommending this company.

We found Matt and the team from Melbourne Joinery Services quite by accident about 2 years ago when we began renovating our home that hadn't had so much as a tap washer changed in 30 years. Being a character home, your average flat pack or "square" cabinetry was never going to work. Not a straight wall in the house. MJS built us everything from custom designed wardrobes, bedroom and bathroom cabinets to a most amazing bespoke Hampton style kitchen. No request was discouraged for being too tricky, including our purpose built "goggle drawer & pool towel cabinet" and doggie bowl station built into the end our kitchen island bench. Suggestions and samples for materials were on hand to help us make the best choices and post install there was never any problem dropping past to attend to any adjustments and fine tuning. And just as important is Matt is a respectful, great guy. I never had any concern with having him and his team in my house while I was home on my own or if I had to leave him to his own devices while I was out. Something I am very conscious of with tradies. And to top it off his prices are very reasonable for a custom service. Excellent value for money with a good balance of price and quality
