Splendid Kitchens

Splendid Kitchens designed and installed a very impressive kitchen that was beyond our expectations and is now a showpiece admired by every visitor to our home. The cost is reasonable. The tradesmen who installed the kitchen were highly skilled.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Poor quality work, dreadful communication, overall a really bad experience. Our original kitchen was demolished 6 weeks ago and the new one is still not finished. Quality issues include Oven installed with no supporting shelf, PowerPoints left dangling with exposed wires , breakfast bar overhang differs from signed plan by 10cm. Project manager visited site once - on the first day.

The team at Splendid have been an absolute pleasure to deal with! From Raj coming out to quote us, to David’s communication once we had committed to going with them and Luke’s work upon installation. Their finishes were well and truly up to the standard we expected and the cabinetry looks amazing. We have however had issues that remain unresolved with Right Choice Stone the company they go through for bench tops and in hindsight we should have organised it separately. Upon installation there was a chip along the edge of the stone, the bench top was 5mm too long creating a gap between the cabinets and kicker (they caulked the cabinet to hide it, but couldn’t caulk the kicker) and they drilled the tap hole in the incorrect spot. They were only relatively minor issues that could have been resolved with effective communication, but the stone company refused to touch base to discuss the mistakes leaving David to deal with it. Overall I would definitely recommend the team at Splendid, but please be wary when engaging Right Choice Stone for your bench tops. Kitchens sell houses so it’s only natural you want the best job possible when paying top dollar and to this point Right Choice Stone have fallen short of the mark in that area. Matt.

I'm so glad we found David, Raj and Luke from Splendid Kitchens, they were a pleasure to deal with and they dealt with our difficult project with professionalism and enthusiasm we had not found in other companies. They were able to adapt quickly to the demands of our project which included uneven floors and walls from a prior 1980's renovation (which we have learnt to live with as part of the quirks of our house), wanting to keep parts of our existing kitchen and requesting a handless and edgeless finish to the new cabinets. The design process was simple and straight forwarded and communication throughout the project was excellent. We have had so many compliments on our updated kitchen and have recommended Splendid Kitchens as definitely the place to go for kitchen projects! Project cost (not including appliances and electrician work) was very competitive and allowed the overall project to come in within our budget! We are so happy with our new kitchen and look forward to working with Splendid Kitchens again in the future when we are ready to extend our house.

I had a terrific experience with Splendid Kitchens, in particular with David who designed our kitchen and laundry, and Luke our installer. They are friendly, extremely helpful and honest. Their work is really great quality. I highly recommend Splendid Kitchens.

Our East Doncaster house had a dividing wall between the kitchen and the family room. As an oldie (70 plus) I was in favour of retaining the dividing wall. The principals of Splendidi kitchens came to our place and with computer graphics proved to me and the wife how much better in space and looks the kitchen would be minus the wall. We appreciated their effort in guiding us. In fact they guided us all the way through. Andrew

We used splendid kitchens to renovate our laundry, we replaced our cabinets and installed a stone bench top, we had no issues and it all went smoothly and we highly recommend splendid kitchens for anyone wanting to update their kitchen/laundry.
