We met with Ascher for a two-hour consultation for advice and ideas for our very difficult, very small, L-shaped, sloped backyard with awful site access. Her aesthetic and knowledge is amazing and she managed to incorporate in all of the things from our wish list (a pool / shade / flow). We were so thrilled with the design that Ascher came back with that we added the house frontage / front yard to the scope of works immediately. The team at SolScapes were fantastic – fast and professional; which meant minimal disruption to our family. Our new backyard is by far the most beautiful ‘room’ in our house with every inch of it being both picturesque and practical. From our very first contact, Ascher and the Solscapes team were of the highest professional standard we could have wished for. We wanted to overhaul our 21 year old back yard and Ascher really listened to us and made a stunning design. From the moment they got started on the physical transformation, they were passionate, eager to liaise with us and finish the job to the highest professional standard. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a few minor alterations along the way but they were dealt with very smoothly and with no stress. All subcontracting to other trades appeared seamless. All of the plants are flourishing and we can even enjoy the space at night due to the amazing lighting installed. Very low maintenance with full reticulation. Almost 12 months on from completion our family are LOVING our new backyard, complete with pool/spa (which was built by another company that Solscapes teams up with quite often and this was very successful), lush plants and raised deck. Ascher and her team successfully transformed our large weed covered block, creating a beautiful garden and a great entertaining area. After an initial discussion, Ascher was able to incorporate many of our requests and ideas into a detailed hand-drawn design that enabled us to visualise the finished product. Her advice regarding plants, materials and her portfolio of other work made many of the decisions easier and she was able to help guide us to a great result. The team of trades that did the work (the scope included limestone walls, brick walls, paving, decking, planting, lawn and reticulation) were well managed, professional and efficient. In addition the communication was great and we were consulted as appropriate. The results are fantastic and something we now enjoy every day.

Ascher's vision for the space I had and what I wanted to use it for was spot on. The team then worked tirelessy to ensure my new yard was completed within the timescales I required and any issues raised were dealt with along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Ascher and her Team designed and constructed a stunning pool area and garden landscape for our new home. Following a disappointing plan from another landscaper we asked around and heard about Ascher Smith Landscape Designs from one of our friends.
