Loved working with Jackie. She has great ideas and will go to the ends of the Earth to source interesting plants! She will listen to the brief and come up with something really special. So glad we found her. I'm not uploading a photo yet because it wouldn't be fair - the plants have just gone in. But I can tell it's going to be amazing.

Jackie provided a design for my front garden, and helped to guide the landscaper to finish the work. Jackie also provided advice on my back garden area which I have leveraged. I am so happy with the outcomes. I get compliments from people walking past all the time. The garden is low maintenance, minimalist, and exactly what I was after. Jackie is so knowledgeable, she really listened to me about my needs, and gave brilliant advice. Highly recommended.

We are so happy with the garden design Jackie put together for our front & back gardens after renovating our house. The garden is honestly the best feature of our house & we have had so many comments from visitors & neighbours about it! Jackie listened to all of our requests and incorporated them into the designs- native plants, veggie patch, some lawn for our dog etc. Even though we were in covid lockdowns, the process was very smooth all completed digitally. Jackie also helped arrange sourcing plants and an excellent landscape contractor. Would highly recommend Jackie and avantgardener!

Jackie from AvantGardener has been excellent to work with during two stages of work she has completed for us, initially designing the hard and soft landscaping elements for a new pool in our side garden and then extending the theme and integrating it into our rear garden. Jackie has great ideas and designed a wonderful garden with interesting plants. She sourced the plants and recommended a great landscaper to construct the hard landscaping elements and build the garden. We would like to start by highly recommending Jackie “Avantgardener” to anyone wanting to have an amazing garden design . Our garden is a thing of beauty with gorgeous colours of plants, flowers and trees that flows so well. The succulents and boarder shrubs blend beautifully, yet every plant stands out so well on their own. The trees are just perfect! The crazy paving path is amazing and ties the garden perfectly. We are very basic gardeners and asked Jackie to design our front garden and the side of the house for us….She always listened to what we would would like. Her expert knowledge of plants and design is exceptional which helped guide us. Her vision and experience helped us to make a decision. However, the garden design and installation exceeded our expectation. We love it. Thank you Jackie.

So many people stop and tell us of the joy our new garden has brought to the whole street! Jackie was a delight to deal with from the initial concept to completion. She listened to our vision for a formal showstopper front garden where fragrant green envelopes us but which is also sensitive to our heritage home; and a more contemporary back garden that extends our living space. We engaged Jackie to design our front and rear gardens and have been delighted with the result. Jackie asked great questions and gave us several designs based on how we thought we wanted to use the space, with ideas we would never have thought of. She considered the aspect, flow, where plants would thrive, height, colour and structure. We regularly have passers by stop and admire our front garden- which is both beautiful and cleverly designed to cope with the leaves and reduced water from the plane trees on our street. It was an enormous pleasure to work with Jackie on our new back garden!! We initially went through a series of ideas on what sort of look we wanted, then began choosing plants to fit. Finally we worked through the total cost of the project including gardening, clearing and landscaping. Throughout, Jackie was enthusiastic and thoughtful and checked regularly on progress. She actually sourced lots of plants for us, which we'd pulled from catalogues. She suggested quite a few excellent tradespeople to cover specialised aspects, and the whole project ran to schedule...the final garden looks splendiferous. Now she is doing our front garden too...happy to recommend to anyone..if you are not sure, check out our garden.

We started our garden renovation project with an outline idea of what colours we wanted, and that we wanted the front garden to be a space we could live in, rather than just move through on the way to the front door. Other than that, we were very light on for ideas. After our first meeting with Jackie to talk about possibilities (noting we had seen other projects of Jackie's in our neighbourhood and liked her work), Jackie presented to us two design options. We much preferred the second (and more complex and more expensive design). Jackie helped us with every important step of the project, from recommending who we should seek quotes from for the new pathway, to the selection and sourcing of every single plant. We even needed Jackie's help to water in our "babies" whilst we went on leave in early January, and Jackie took care of the garden for us in our absence to make sure it continued to thrive. I am absolutely thrilled with the finished project, and we now have the gorgeous open space in front of our home that I had hoped for.

Jackie recently helped us redo our courtyards and WOW what a great result! We are thrilled! Jackie has wonderful ideas, listens to what you hope to achieve and puts it all together. She also introduced us to Andrew who helped make her design come to life! A true professional and a beautiful person, we would recommend Jackie to anyone looking to establish their perfect garden - large or small.
