Chris and his team were brilliant! From the word go I knew we were in the right hands. Prior to Formation Landscapes, our garden and deck were just OK, but had tremendous potential. Chris saw the potential and developed a plan that ticked all of the boxes for us - an outdoor entertaining space that could be used year round, a visual experience from many different aspects, it would be fully automated (so we can't kill it!), and enhance the liveability and value of our home. Chris handled all of the planning, engineering, and permits required pre-starting. We were kept up to date on costs, work schedules and variations that may be necessary. The guys who worked on the project were a pleasure to have on sight. They respected our privacy, kept the site clean and safe, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The job was finished on time and on budget too! A few months down the track and the garden is maturing nicely, growing, flowering, is looking more beautiful each day and even just as beautiful when lit up at night. We engaged Formation for a greenfield landscaping project to complete the exterior spaces of our newly built home. The initial design process was very thorough, with 3D drawings detailing elevations and plants. It showed how much Chris had listened as the design hit the brief completely. We loved the way Chris utilised organic forms (like rock boulders) and round concrete planters to complement the greenery. Throughout the project, we found Chris' team to be highly professional, courteous and extremely hardworking. Any issues were swiftly escalated and resolved with minimal fuss. We valued the constant communication - Chris and his team always kept us up-to-date on progress, what is coming up, and any potential slippages - to ensure that our expectations were set and then met. It was refreshing to work with a team, particularly from the home-building industry, whereby we were able to 100% trust them to execute their work with professionalism and integrity. Overall, we are thrilled with the end product. Thanks to Chris and his team for delivering an outdoor space that is both beautiful as it is functional. Could not recommend Formation highly enough.

Excellent design. Chris was easy to work with and flexible in incorporating our ideas and design preferences. The whole team at Formation Landscapes were professional, courteous and always accommodating to our needs. We had few issues, but when there were issues or cost blow-outs, Chris communicated promptly and clearly on why there were variances. Chris worked in positive and constructive collaboration with our builder, architect and us as the clients. He listened and responded to our specific needs and delivered a space that is both highly liveable and beautiful. Chris Weiss from Formation Landscapes has a fantastic eye for design with great ideas and provided me invaluable advice. He was easy to deal with and supportive throughout the process and extremely patient and accommodating including when I encountered a major problem with stone I had personally sourced. The team (Ryan and Tommy) were trustworthy, hardworking and produced great quality work. We used formation landscapes to design our new pool and work our existing garden around it. We wanted to make use of every part of our garden and solve a few functional problems along the way, like bike storage, bin area, where to store firewood etc. Chris at formation landscapes delivered a beautiful, functional design that we were very happy with.
