Milcon Aust is a small family owned carpentry & acoustic specialist business. Alex has been in the building industry for 35+ years and has extensive experience in domestic and commercial building and Acoustic soundproofing. Milcon Aust have sourced leading manufacturers with patented products and technical knowledge ensuring quality noise reduction results. From acoustic insulation blankets to noise absorbers and noise blockers. Barrierboard Classic A32, Barrierboard A10 and Barrierboard A16 (all Australian made) with proven results of up to 80% noise reduction. We specialise in soundproofing installations for consulting suites, waiting rooms, cafes and restaurants, homes, apartments, industrial and warehouse factories, offices, home theatres and music studios. You will feel suddenly the world is quiet. The acoustic insulation is very very effective.

Had Alex and the team install soundproofing Barrierboard A32 with furring channels on a party wall in a terrace house. Communication was great with Alex checking a couple of times during the work. The team were friendly and respectful I was working from home, cleaned everything up afterwards and completed a high quality job on time. What more, wall is working perfectly!

I could here constant chatter from my neighbours in my apartment. Milcon added 3cm wide sound proofing to my bedroom (I chose the thinner insulation to avoid the wardrobe) and 6cm to my living room. I can't hear anything in my living room now. In my bedroom, I have gone from hearing constant chatter to briefly noticing a faint sound maybe once an hour. I am much happier!! The guys were efficient, reliable, professional and even helped do some extra patching that I required from unrelated ceiling issues (thanks Zach). I highly recommend Milcon.

Great service from the initial meeting right through to the completion of the job Alex came when he said he would, he advised and gave us a competitive quote. Milcon has renovated several houses for me over the years They always provide excellent service, with professional staff, paying particular attention to their clients wishes at a fair and reasonable price Alex and his workers are willing to tackle any job, no matter how large or small I have nearly finished my renovation and wouldn’t use any other company for this and any future renovations
