Kate has an unmatched ability to combine the character of an old piece (such as a family heirloom) with fabrics and other materials which are stylish and appropriate to their surroundings. Kate from Rapt upholstered a beautiful reproduction Featherston chair for clients to relax in when visiting our office and I couldn't be happier. Our corporate colours are perfectly reflected in the fabric and I enjoy being 'greeted' by the chair every time I enter the office. I took delivery within a short space of time after placing the order and so didnt have to wait too long before it was settled in its new home. Everyone who visits comments on how beautiful it is and I even had someone ask if they could buy it from me! No way, I love it too much.

I asked Rapt Upholstery to re-upholster some 1950's vinyl and chrome kitchen/dining chairs and stools. I wanted to keep the integrity of the era, while also giving the chairs some new life. The chairs and stools were all slightly different in style and shape and condition, and thus provided some minor challenges, which Rapt resolved, in consultation with me when needed. The end result was fantastic. Rapt were extremely professional in their approach and communication throughout my whole experience.
