Take the lattice out, the lattice looks as though it has had its day, replace with horizontal or vertical slats, you can get in many different colours, using colour bond type product...would really give the fence a face lift

Hi there, I would really like a similar look as the picture below for our new treated pine fence. But just unsure what sort of product would come closest to achieving this. So far suggestions have been for a water-based stain, but from the images I have seen these look quite matte/dull (whereas the timber below seems more glossy/rich). Any advice would be much appreciated :)

We are turning an old modified colonial with deep wrap around verandas into a modern farmhouse. We love the recent colour scheme we've seen emerging on old colonials and queenslanders of fresh white exteriors and interiors which really contrast stained honey coloured timber doors and windows and let them stand out and sing. But we're trying to nail down specific paints for walls and trims that do it. Has anyone done a similar colour and got advice? Cheers, hive-mind!
