Comments (4)While a shutter solution will give you some visual privacy it won't stop noise going through as sound waves will travel through the air gaps. I would be reluctant to add a traditional style framed window into the space as it will break it up too much. I would probably look at a frameless, fixed, glazed solution, similar to an oversized, frameless shower screen, which will stop any noise, have minimal visual impact, and not detract from the existing architecture.
