based on the accurate dimensions the most economical update would be to replace the spa with a shower over bath, keep the existing vanity and toilet, reuse existing taps and retile but, any bath renovation is always much more expensive than imagined, and the unexpected expenses (eg asbestos under tiles) can add up and a minimum of ten thousand for a very modest upgrade wouldn't be surprising...If the bathroom is in acceptable condition especially if there's any possibility of a future expansion towards the backyard that could affect the current position of bathroom and laundry) i suggest (subject to confirmation from a plumber) that you consider reorganising the other spaces and sacrifice the wiw to create an ensuite with linen storage taken off the middle bedroom..surprisingly an extra bathroom could be less expensive than renovating the old one but i would still allow at least $10,000 with careful planning

If this is just a budget improvement then I would try to fix the cracked tiles and missing grout, paint the window frame white and add white shutters on the window, paint the vanity white (although I don't like doing that either) and get new handles and taps, toilet roll holder etc., install a lovely white potted plant, as shown above and white fluffy towels. A new white frame on the mirror or replace it with a slightly smaller white framed one. Then I would save up for a white stone bench top or stone overlay bench top and the cream will go nicely with all of it. Unfortunately your shower seems to be the most dated part. If you try to change the door you may find that you have missing tiles, although new floor tiles in the shower would probably look OK and add a glass hinged door. Good luck.

Bath v shower. If you go for the shower and no bath, make the space big enough to retrofit a bath in later. Bath is normally less than 900 which is preferred shower width however, If u plan on being there 10 years then can’t loose either way. Talk to your plumber about the most cost effective layout options, for example they may suggest rehanging door to swing other way or moving door to open up other layouts, I agree about corner cabinets, my sister just replaced hers with straight and there is more space not less and much more modern look.
