Go with your plan to feature colour Wall A and mount mirror on Wall A and place beachy art work on Wall B. My suggestion is to maybe consider using a paint colour for the featured wall that is tonally similar to paint on Wall B and not too dark so as to give room depth but not close it in with a dark heavy contrasting shade. Offsetting the hanging of the mirror closer (to the plant) could also add interest (and work with the shorter end of the sofa). Often going with you intuition is the best advice!!!

Place a modular unit at point A and B with a lovely big rug That will not feel too 'boxed in' Anchor that with 2 easy chairs that can move from point D to wherever you need them for any given occassion A large print on wall B will be a focal point for people entering the room Add wall decoration and living greenery Lovely! I think you need to change your thinking from 'living room', to 'generously sized entry hall' as you have so many doors and walkways through this space it's hard to imagine it will be a cozy TV nook. I would place a pair of comfortable armchairs towards the corner to the stairs with a round rug to help create a zone within the space, while still allowing a flow around the space for people entering the house. You might also have a side table and ottoman to complete the grouping. Good luck
