Comments (6)Since you are handy you could make something like this ,if you want to safe time then get a screen and place it behind the bed,this one you can change at anytime and use it if you ever need some sort of privacy or other decor ,here is one idea and I will find the other ones . Comments (4)I would be really disappointed also, glad they are sending someone to look at it, as you said for such an expensive item the workmanship should be spot on, the stores response was not very helpful also, hope the manufacturer fixes it for you as it will always make you unhappy every time you look at it. Comments (5)Hi Julie/Tim, there are various off the shelf choices, usually plain fabric, standard designs and sizes (around the 1800-1900mm width). As with as with just about anything, a larger budget opens up more options especially choosing custom designed and made, over off the shelf. A fully custom bed headboard opens up many options - vast choice of fabric, shape and sizes, designed for the space (eg taking account of proportions, working around fixtures etc), decorative trims and finishes and probably better quality construction and materials (including what is underneath the fabric). This is where as a professional I would take a client’s space & requirements to narrow these dazzling array of options down to a specification that meets the brief.
