Re-did fly around model to correctly show rear decking and landscape idea, We have are about to start ground works

If you're renting why are you worried? The blinds look like they function ok and by the looks of them they look in good condition. Seems like a waste of money and time to be bothered changing only to change back once lease is up.

On closer inspection I've determined the north facing windows (30º west) don't need extra shading, but the easterly kitchen & laundry need exterior vertical drop blinds, the morning Queensland sun has plenty of bite. The south & south-west bay windows need partial angled exterior blinds, but will include the south-east bay for symmetry. One westerly Master window sharing a corner with a southerly ensuite window I considered a small shade sail, but as there is a garden bed there I think maybe a horizontal slat panel as a frame for climbing plant, hinged for maintenance access & climbers rooted at the hinge side(s). Finally a fixed decorative screen outside a westerly garage window near the front door.

what is the height of the space under the bedrooms? .do you have the original plans showing a cross sections of the house as that should show the heights of the existing basement floors and ceilings . it's unlikely to be tall enough or the real estate agents' photos would have called it something more than a storage area so you will probably need to engage a professional designer to make a plan of what you already have before they can suggest how to achieve what you want
