Hi cher323 I new that once I put it there I think even with the size bench you have would still look small so I'm opting for a console table which is 180cm long and 79 cm high then I will also look at maybe a bigger mirror or artwork to go above console. it was mentioned that as I have a round mirror already in my entrance having another round mirror would be too similar so will just wait until console arrives to decide. If I replace mirror with artwork in entrance, then maybe bigger mirror over console could look good.

I would recommend a door that goes back into the sides of space. But sorry I can't think what they are called. Maybe retractable? This then allows for space to be completely open without doors or hinges in the way. The only negative is that they do take up extra space when retracted back into sides of cabinet. Having a study desk separate from the bedroom, in my experience is a good idea. The bedroom is for the children to relax and chill, but the study desk is for work and concentration. And when they have finished study for the day, the doors can be closed without having to pack books away.

I did a quick google search. have a look at https://www.4cabling.com.au/cable-management/cable-management-tools/desk-cable-management.html as an example, . if you have more cables than will fit in a particular product then buy some cable ties from Bunnings and tie them to the tray. for a cheap diy solution you could try a section of Whites 1000mm Plastic StayMesh Gutter Strip $7.30 from Bunnings to cover on the floor or attach to underside of desk with loops.

That's a great unique desk. I wouldn't put too much on it so you don't have too much to move when you need to work. Are you planning to hang any art? I think the wall behind to the right could use something. And an item in a coordinating colour on the left of the desk, like maybe a pen holder from a craftsperson who makes timber or glass? Or is the space between the windows where you're putting the bookshelf?
