Pendant light choice would usually be for a specific purpose so if you will move things around I would have a rethink. It may be possible to have a pendant with a long lead & hooks for the cord that would allow you to move it within a reasonable distance of the connection point. Maybe some general lighting might work better e.g. or two or three directional spotlights along edges or the ridge line & on dimmers if possible. Subtle strip lighting at the top of the grey wall & the addition of a feature decorative wall hanging & potted plants would look nice too.

Hi Katrina, there's definitely a few options to choose from! Depending on the size of the room, you could install 2 or 4 down lights. We advise a down light every 2 - 2.5 meters. If you would still like a feature product, install a stylish ceiling fan. The second look like they are designed for stairwells so I'd be a bit wary about using them up higher as the light might be a bit "spotlight" and not diffuse enough. I think both styles work with your house design
