Okay, here's an update. It seems that the only 'recommended' product is fibre cement sheets as they will not absorb humidity. All the other brands mentioned above didn't recommend their own product when they found out it was going in the bathroom. Scyon and Hardiegroove were the options they recommended. I found providers in Brissy but freight was in excess of $250... Bunning had them in theory, but only for full packs (20 sheets) which was more than I needed so that didn't work either, but... then they told me they also have another brand 'Duragroove' which they did stock. What a great space, you have done a terrific job, love your colour scheme, black fan for sure, I would go a more square light and these won’t date or restrict your styling, a concrete table could add an industrial look and be easy seating for the family, add a gorgeous sofa that you can relax on, some beautiful planters and lush plants, bliss.

And in winter you will not require any shade, it will be a perfect spot to get away from the household. Regarding the office set up in the pool house. You need a desk or two or even a built in bench with draws underneath, for stationery, filing, general paperwork. You need space for a printer/scanner. Filing cabinets, or cupboards for files, and books, accessible nbn point for your modem, unless you are using an extension from the home. Wall for white board or cork board. One or two good ergonomic office chairs. And last, a sofa bed. This is our office, the buffet is actually my cabinet which is holding a4 files, and stationery. Plus the sofa bed.

Where are they to be attached? I too was thinking lanterns suit a verandah but are those log walls? Even if the lanterns can be installed I'm not sure they'd look right? So I'm thinking maybe bunkers.
