Would this faucet and sink work

We are remodeling our basement and putting in a bar. I'd like to get an oil rubbed bronze faucet as it will look great with the backsplash but would it look ok with a stainless sink or do I need a matching sink? Thank you.

Yes it will look great! I have recently done an extensive online photo search for the bronze faucet and stainless sink combo and like the look...I'm going for a modern sort of upside down "L" shape in a bronze faucet with ss sink. Go for it!

Many people have the combination of a oil rubbed bronze faucet with a stainless steel sink in their kitchen! I think it honestly depends on the countertops you have in your kitchen for if it would be the best option or not. If I were you, I would literally just google "oil rubbed bronze faucet with stainless sink" and there are a lot of images that will demonstrate to you what exactly it would look like in coordinance with different countertops and even backsplashes.

I have a double right now (one large, one small) and I use the small one to drip dry anything that doesn't go in the dishwasher. It's convenient, but even so I'm planning to switch to a single large sink in the future. I haven't found any double sinks that I really like, but I will admit I haven't seen a great solution to drip drying pots and pans. I really do use that second sink a lot (even if I towel dry my pots, which I don't usually bother to do, I still have to have a place to put them until I've finished the dishes). Most dishracks I've seen are intended for plates and utensils, which I just put in the dishwasher. If I can find a good dishrack for pots and pans, then I will be very happy with a large single basin sink I think.

I only specify an overmount sink for clients if the benchtop surface warrants one. The last time I did was because the client wanted a timber benchtop. I managed to find a beautiful black quartz composite sink that worked well and looked like a feature in the kitchen because it matched the colour of the cabinets. My usual go to sink is definitely undermount because of its aesthetic and practical advantages. Small chips can always be smoothed out if need be but really, there is no substitute for being careful!

love the idea of the very dark walls with a very dark floor and try complementing the opposite window coverings with your courtyard garden...subject to climate and sunlight, consider potted bamboos and azaleas with white roller blinds to look like shoiji screens for a Japanese look or plantation shutters with palms or Aussie natives with wooden venetians or ferns and sheers but always include the window furnishings to complete the outlook from your extension

my suggestions are based on zoning the areas for multiple cooks and helpers and has a bar open to the living area from both ends with an optional privacy door between bar and pantry and no door between kitchen and pantry, the island should be much narrower for quick meals and the arrangement of drawers and supporting post under the island allow for cook's stool spacebtw, unless you prefer to iron in the laundry the laundry and mudroom seem a little generous at the expense of the small study that could also be a useful downstairs emergency sick room

I did that Leslie and I did indeed order the oil rubbed bronze faucet. I especially like it because that color is in the backsplash so it looks fantastic!

Absolutely! We have an ORB faucet and stainless sink and it looks great IMO. You can sort of get a feel for the look in this pic. Pardon the mess on the counters, including one very naughty Penny who knows she isn't supposed to be there but is standing firm and defiant.
