Hi there, tiles on the floor of a bedroom? It sounds a bit cold underfoot unless you are having underfloor heating installed, but then perhaps you are renovating in warmer climes than where I live! I would recommend going for a matte or satin finish in the bedroom as the gloss could look a little sterile.also If you have a connecting ensuite, you wouldnt want to run the risk of slipping on the floor if you have wet feet :o

"Whatever you do don't get the same person back to do it again, (even if you hadn't paid them) Biggest tip I can give to renovators is if the trade hasn't cut it on the first run then you're pushing it uphill to try and get it over the satisfactory line. Better to cut your losses and pay to get it done by more experienced tradesperson, more often at a higher cost." Yes I have by Precious Tiling. For my home, we first did the concrete flooring then laid the vinyl tiles. For a quality job, the substrate must be clean, flat, and very smooth. To fit tile around pipes or obstacles, cut a pattern from cardboard and then use a contour gauge or compass to transfer the pattern onto a tile.
