@zaffa we are getting the clear transparent as they will be hung singular & we unfortunately have a bulk head. Also a smallish space! What colours ar you getting?

Hi Debbie, we are getting either 3 or 4 in warm colours, probably bronze, amber, aubergine, & steel blue. It's like going into a candy store in the Mark Douglass studio!! Clear translucent sounds wonderful. I'm sure they will look amazing in your space!!

Great to see you have gone with an original and using a local artist. Replica furniture and art have destroyed industries. Hence I only do special orders now for people that understand the value of creativity and workmanship.

I can't stop trawling through his website & Pinterest! I live on the Goldie so unfortunately too far to come down to checkout the showroom. I'm now changing my mind to the drape or the soft serve...... I'm getting a new kitchen after storm damage. My splashback is going to hand made tiles from Jatana Interiors. What do you think from my photo? I know it's a symmetrical pattern but I do like to take risks!

Hi Debbie, I like your splashback. It's different! My sense is that you would need a 'non-busy' looking kitchen to really allow the splashback to pop. What type of kitchen are you going for?

White semi gloss cabinetry with push opening, caesarstone bench top in fresh cement which just off white with a hint of grey or pure white. Double square deep sinks with no side drainer. Black tap (see photo). I keep changing my mind on which pendants....... Dinted orb, drape or snow cone? We unfortunately have a bulk head above our kitchen for the ducted air con so the pendants have to be small to allow for enough drop. What do you think? I love your choice of colours in your cluster. It's going to look divine......

Sounds fabulous Debbie. I'm wondering if you've seen the Trixie design? Similar to the dinted orb but smaller scale (and cheaper!) which may work given your concern about the bulkhead size relative to the pendants. Also, as you have grey/black tones in your kitchen (benchtop, splashback and tap) I think the smokey grey colour would look fabulous and tie these elements together. Just my opinion ...

@Zaffa I had swung around to this smokey grey colour this morning! I had originally loved the trixie but then forgot about it until now. Thanks! We have our TV unit in a grey cement so it will def will work with that. I really appreciate all your advice!!

Will look amazing! Your colour choices will really suit the space. Trixie is definitely the right size for your island bench. How high from benchtop to bulkhead? How many across the bench?

We are getting a new kitchen through insurance so we will be cutting down the privacy lip. There is will be 135cm from bulk head to bench giving us 45cm to play with.... The small Dinted orb is 18cm & the trixie is 12 or 15cm. If I hang individually then 3. If I cluster on the corner with 5 or 6 small trixies then I would keep the other 2 as downlights. I'm now tempted to do the latter. The problem with MDDesigns is they don't have a named picture of every colour option. Amber/bronze? We will also be removing the bread bin section & making that last cabinet the same depth as the other 4 to open it up further & stream line it.

The bronze is stunning! See photo below. That's probably my favourite. If you cluster I'd prob go 3 or 4. Either way you can't lose. Your kitchen will be beautiful!

@zaffa I went into MD Design yesterday.......OMG I was a kid in a candy store. Mark was there & with his creative input, I bought my 3.

No we had our new kitchen measured up yesterday so probably 2 months away. I got those 3 smokey grey pendants which I put up in my last post - Dinted orb, orb & one he had out the back. I can't wait! You made some beautiful choices!
