Your home looks like it may be 'vintage' so you may not want to paint the doors if they are in good condition but you may want to frame them. Have some fun in your hallway with some colour. After all you don't spend that much time there and it is the first impression everyone will have of your home when they walk in. Paint the trim one colour and the walls another. As others have said put some 'pop' in the area with what you hang on the walls. Perhaps you have a favourite painting or picture that can give you the inspiration for the colours to use.

Curious what colour would you paint it. oh and YES you can paint your roof, but you need to clean and seal it first.. Check your roof for any broken or cracked tiles and replace them. To repair any damaged mortar around the ridge capping, remove the capping and apply new mortar and put the capping back in place. Make sure the mortar is dry before you start painting. and use a airless spray gun to paint. frcrooks, I wouldn't be changing the garage doors and removing the garage gable as the front of the garage will look like a poorly proportioned aircraft hanger. I think you have a good starting point with the teal garage doors and acid yellow front door. One of my clients lived in a very conservative suburb and trusted me with a choice for acid yellow cladding to the entry. Now that it is finished they love it and they get lots of compliments from neighbours about their exterior colours. Best of luck, please don't do another drab Melbourne colour scheme, and consider engaging a professional colour consultant who understands the architectural style of your home. Personally I would go a lighter grey than monument and leave the posts and garage a light colour to contrast given the grey driveway. Wallaby or basalt maybe.
