It would not be unusual to have black knobs, handles etc and different hinges. It is personal preference though.

The front of your home looks like homes in Las Vegas, Nevada. Are you more interested in a bathroom along these aesthetics? In Australia the bathroom you have shown would be a very common look. If you are staying in the home for a length of time, and your budget meets your wishes. Then change it to whatever you would feel more comfortable with.

Definitely a different colour. It’s not unattractive though but don’t be fobbed off to the rep. You gave your money to the business and that’s who you should be dealing with.
