Help settle our tv wiring dispute

Hubby and I are in a disagreement, so I'm curious your perspectives and hopefully solutions!

I left hubby to sort out our A/V stuff, so he went and bought coax and Ethernet wall plates. INDIVIDUAL PLATES.
I didn't care so much, but then we decided to add tv wiring to all the bedrooms (as per our local providers, this required running 2x coax, and 2x Ethernet) at about 60" or so above the wall (for wall mounted LCDs).

I'm now concerned that having 3 separate boxes (power, coax, ethernet) on the wall will look like crap, but hubby has already purchased the boxes and is digging his heels in deep as he doesn't want to waste money.

The preliminary cost-to-build appraisal came in 100k low, and he's warned us ugliness will reduce the appraisal further.

What do your tv walls look like? Please show me, as ideas for compromise would be great at this point!
Thanks in advance!
