Thoughts/opinions appreciated and specific recommendations in providing better lighting to the kitchen without running wires through the timber beams. Either fixing some lighting to the wall above the window, or individual spotlights along the beams. Thanks!

Your choice of pendants are gorgeous but would keep as a cluster at end of bench doorway side, strip lighting could look fabulous or even one beautiful pendant would look stunning.

If you have pendant lights, I would put three over the angled part of your bench top. A smaller pendant style. Also, Make sure the down lights are in the correct places to avoid shadowing when doing tasks. And, the only thing I’m noticing is the yellow air con vent. A shame to have a new kitchen space and old discoloured vents. We recently replaced all the vent unit in our home after painting entire home. You can wash the inserts but the whole vent gets discoloured and the only way to make your new kitchen renovation perfect, is to replace the entire vent. I just contacted the local air con specialist, and they did it for me.
