I think a nice grey (not too dark, but darker than your concrete driveway colour), on the weather boards OR the render around the entry (not both) would look great! It would modernise your home further; bring out the brick more; and tie in with your driveway and roof? Green foliage also looks great against grey so will complement nicely when you get your garden established. I can't reccomend any particular grey as I know nothing about paint colours, sorry!

What about random/crazy paving the driveway to match what was on the pillars. Second choice the new light coloured pebble crete, exposed Ag as it's now called ,guess it depends on your budget., this is a very simple effect and the house would still be the star

there are way too many colours going on here. Your home is a traditional style and yes the cream and green are traditional colours with the reddish brick however why did you put grey around the windows??also you have red scollops above the grey and it doesn't do the house justice. What colour was there before you painted the grey?? considering grey is a more modern colour I think you were attempting to modernise the externals. in saying that the roof would have been better to paint charcoal the cream in white and then the grey and then the driveway would be done in a grey stain. but if you leave it the way it is and cover the red scolloping above the windows the same grey and the bricks below the windows near the ground grey as well then get the drive way restained to the reddish colour of the bricks on the house and then it would blend more and look inviting.

You certainly have a challenge. Anything can be painted, providing you are prepeared to repaint it when it starts to wear. I think your starting point should be that huge driveway and your window blinds. You don't want to paint those, so you need to work around the terracotta driveway colour and the cream blind colour. It is possible to paint a driveway, but it always wears with traffic and ends up looking shabby. If you have concrete roof tiles I would look at repainting those, possibly a green/grey, to match Colorbond Woodland grey to offset the driveway colour. Probably easiest to repaint the brickwork (rather than render) to match the window blinds so that they are less of a feature. Rendering can be quite expensive, especially as you will need to remove all of your window shutters first, then have them re-installed. I would soften the driveway by introducing some large concrete planters with some hardy succulents along the right hand side. Best of luck, Dr Retro of Dr Retro House Calls
