White or grey/black grout?
Comments (13)Hello guartris, Well I would take the inspiration from the picture you have posted.. Nicely done! I like the darker grout idea personally.. so grey would be my choice.. I love the different textures and feels with industrial lighting and oven with a period feel hood above the oven... One thing I would do.. Have all the cupboards with a touch/open mechanism.. They look so stylish without handles.. Nickel cup handles for drawers... : ))...See MoreGrey grout, white tiles - help!!!
Comments (30)My suggestion is first talk to the builder to see what instructions he gave the tiler as i'm sure he doesn't want a dissatisfied client. Most tilers will check with the builder before grouting especially when a colour is not specified in a contract. I would then ask if the grout could be replaced, from the looks of it it will only be a couple of hours work. There is nothing worse than having to look at something you are not happy with. I would not use the paint product as it will alway look like it is covering a mistake. White will look better. Make sure the mixer body is waterproofed or you will have a leak in your wall, the membrane should lap onto the body from the wall if it is done well. All the best....See MoreThis is a pic of my floor tile...it is light grey. What colour walls?
Comments (16)I work as a colourist and the easiest method for a upmarket look is to choose an exact colour to match one of the colours in the tile. I would take the tile to a paint shop and get the colourist it match exactly one of the greys in the tile. Make the depth of the colour a light version. All white walls are on the way out. Lappatto tiles usually have some texture as they are semi polished. This is the latest look in tiles as they give a shine without the maintenance of polished porcelain which had been in. They are usually less slippery than satin or polished tiles depending on the brand....See MoreWhite or Misty gray grout bathroom tiles
Comments (2)I have just laid grey floor tiles and white ( with a very subtle pattern) and I have used the same light grey grout for both. White grout is a nightmare to keep clean....See MoreDesigns by BSB
