Help with decorating my long, dark and oddly shaped entry hall
Comments (17)The hallway is bright and welcoming. Forget a mat as you have dogs as well as elderly family. Unless the chair is serving a purpose, I would remove it and add a full-length wall hung mirror which will reflect light and make the hall look an indeterminate length and you can used it to see your reflection before you leave the house....See MoreAdding decorative column/pier to house facade
Comments (21)Yeah , if you look at that pic , and go right to the top ( the very first pic you posted a few days ago ) you can see the difference , for not much extra $$$ . Even compared to the rendered pic , I know which I prefer , but everyone is different . The 3rd column may be a hassle ( opening car doors onto it etc ) -- I'd try and do just 2 , have the second one at the 'front' ( same distance forward as the front of the pergoda ) and maybe a bit to the left , but then that may obscure the front door , although I reckon that is going to be 2 1/2 to 3 metres back . Personally , I don't think its a problem , and would still look balanced , but some people probably wouldn't want that . And just 1 other thing -- the very first pic you posted , the upstairs colour looks warmer and yellower -- has it been painted , or was that a sunset ? Personally , I like that colour better , and would carry it down to the render ( I don't think it would look 'Spanish' ) and it would make the stonework look warmer too . Plus everyone does grey these days -- apart from me hahaha . . . . . ....See MoreWindow Frames - Standard or Decorative Colours
Comments (0)Selecting the colours for your window and door frames may be the most obvious question of colour choice. Do you want your window and door frames to be a feature? Or do you prefer frames that blend in with the surrounding wall space, both interior and exterior? Our aluminium window and door frames come in shades of silver, beige, white, cream, and matte black, that will match or coordinate well with your home. Or you can add a pop of distinct colour with a decorative powder coat colour, such as Deep Ocean (see below). Which do you prefer? Standard Colours that will match with your home. Comments (3)I'm interested in chatting with some people currently in the renovation market for research on a new platform that will tag paint types and colours and show you the closest property with that colour. If you are interested in looking at a prototype please email me at greg@whobuiltthat.com.au. Thanks....See MoreYardvaark
