We used Dulux Vivid white in our kitchen and intend to use Asian Ivory in our living areas, both look amazing with wood. But if you are keeping the limed effect on the wood, you might to to experiment with sample pots as Tilly suggested. Hi all, it's now 2020! I'm at render stage and would love it to be white but the renderer I spoke with this morning said to think long and hard about 'white! as it gets dirty very easily especially taking into account the recent dust-storm, not to mention the ash and smoke from the ongoing bushfires. I would like to know: how your respective white renders are coming along in regards to appearance, staining and maintenance; and what type of render and render finish do you have? I am looking at a sandy Rokcote acrylic render. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

We have fresh concrete bench tops and Caspar white quarter on kitchen walls and throughout the house. Blackbutt flooring. We trialled several dulux whites in north and south facing rooms during the day and night. CWQ was the winner. It is a beautiful fresh white that doesn’t throw blue or yellow. The lexicon definitely had a blue tint in our house. You can purchase A4 size swatches of real paint- we moved these around and made a checklist of how often we chose each sample then tallied the numbers. The swatches are adhesive but if you use blu-tac you can use them as many times as you like and you don’t have to paint samples on the walls all over your house.

Colours are personal. Lexicon is a cool blue white. Your tile looks like you could go warm or cool white
