Hi all, we often recommend to posters here that they do minimal alterations to their existing house and extend without altering the existing roofline. I found a good example of this recently. They did reconfigure within the existing house but in way that kept some original rooms and didn’t need beams. Not joined by a link but two separate rooflines.
Not sure what the renovation cost but added about $600k to the property.
